PAFC
Polyaluminum ferric chloride (PACF) is an innovative inorganic composite flocculant formed through the copolymerization of aluminum and iron salts. This formulation effectively combines the advantages of both types of flocculants, serving as an excellent alternative to conventional PACF and polyferric compounds. It demonstrates superior initial coagulation time, floc size, and sedimentation rate compared to PACF, while achieving better effluent coloration than ferric chloride (FeCl3) and maximizing chemical efficiency.

Product Description
Polyaluminum ferric chloride (PACF) is an innovative inorganic composite flocculant formed through the copolymerization of aluminum and iron salts. This formulation effectively combines the advantages of both types of flocculants, serving as an excellent alternative to conventional PACF and polyferric compounds. It demonstrates superior initial coagulation time, floc size, and sedimentation rate compared to PACF, while achieving better effluent coloration than ferric chloride (FeCl3) and maximizing chemical efficiency. The material is available in yellowish-brown or reddish-brown powder form, highly soluble in water, and exhibits strong adsorption bridging properties.
Its aqueous solution maintains a slightly acidic pH, though prone to deliquescence in air.
Product applications
Polyaluminum ferric chloride (PACF) is widely used in wastewater treatment across multiple industries, including textile dyeing, steel mills, sewage treatment plants, and paper mills. It demonstrates optimal performance across pH levels between 4-10, while also effectively treating high-turbidity water and low-temperature turbid water.
